LB Brewers Targets ₹500 Crore Revenue, Plans Big Expansion and Possible IPO

Goa-based beverage company LB Brewers is expecting significant growth to surpass ₹500 crore in revenue over the next four to five years. Known for its craft beer brand ‘MakaDi’ and functional drink ‘Borecha,’ the company is tailoring its strategy to meet the growing demand in the Indian beverage market and the increasing interest in new beverage options. Along with expansion, the company has also hinted at a possible initial public offering in the future to support its long-term plans.

LB Brewers has come a long way since its early days as a small home brewing experiment. Today, it is becoming a rapidly growing player in the Indian beverage space. According to company leadership, it generated revenue of approximately ₹24 crore in the last financial year. This year, it is targeting sales of over ₹60 crore, demonstrating strong growth in a short period of time.

The company believes that the growing popularity of its products and its expanding market presence will help it reach the ₹500 crore mark in the coming years. This growth is expected to come from both domestic sales and international expansion.

While craft beer remains a significant part of its business, LB Brewers is also focusing on health-oriented beverages. The company recently launched a functional drink called ‘Life6’, which contains CoQ10. This ingredient is well-known for its antioxidant properties and is often associated with improved energy levels and overall wellness.

With this launch, the company is entering the growing functional beverage segment, where customers are looking for products that offer both taste and health benefits. The company also claims that the product is gaining attention outside of India, which could open up new global opportunities.

A key strength of LB Brewers is its decision to handle production internally rather than relying on third-party manufacturers. The company believes that direct control over manufacturing helps maintain consistent quality, which is crucial in the beverage industry.

Over time, it has invested in expanding its production capacity. In its initial phase, the company produced only approximately 5,000 cases per month. Now, its monthly capacity has increased to 40,000 cases for Makadi and approximately 36,000 cases for Borcha. This rapid increase in production demonstrates the rapid pace at which the company is expanding its operations.

The company has significantly expanded its presence across India over the past year. It is now active in approximately 10 states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Kerala. This expansion has helped the brand reach a larger customer base and improve visibility.

The company is also steadily growing internationally. Its craft beer brand is already available in countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines. The company is now preparing to enter the European market, which could further expand its global reach.

With growing sales, new product launches, and increasing international demand, LB Brewers is establishing itself as a strong emerging player in the beverage industry. The company’s plans to consider an IPO in the future reflect its intention to raise funds for rapid expansion and a larger market share.

If the company continues at its current pace, it could become a major player in both the domestic and global markets. Its growth journey and future listing plans are likely to attract considerable investor interest in the coming years.
